Marriage and Cherry Coke

Happy Friday!

Today is a great day for three reasons.
The first: My in-laws leave for their anniversary trip to Cabo San Lucas tomorrow morning. I hope they have a great week on the beach!!

The second: Two great friends are getting married this evening! They are one of those couples that are perfect for each other. You know, the kind that you have no doubt one day your grandchildren will play together. I can’t wait to help them celebrate!
The third: I found out the cafeteria at work now has Cherry Coke on tap. If you know me, you know my love for Cherry Coke. I am not a big pop (soda/whatever you call it) drinker, but I crave Cherry Coke. It cures headaches, hangovers and upset stomachs. I even know what restaurants in Cbus have it. If I am having McDonalds, I will drive out of my way to go to the one that has Cherry Coke. I refuse to feel guilty or apologize for that! Ha!
Now that it’s only an elevator ride away, I foresee my once-a-week-pop becoming a regular affair! Oh, and I may have a shirt that has the cherry coke logo on it. Yep, true story.

Have a great weekend friends!

Julie and Jason

I have been full of sadness and heartache and my posts have reflected that, but there have been some awesome things happen in the past few weeks!

As you were getting tipsy on green beer for St. Patrick's Day, I was celebrating the marriage of two amazing people. I grew up with Julie. She is one of my oldest and dearest friends. Remember?!  I went to her bachelorette party in Nashville.

She met Jason in college and from the first time I met him, I knew they were the perfect match. You can tell when you are around a couple if they are the real deal. These two are!

They had a stunning wedding, one of the most beautiful I have ever been to. It was full of romance and elegance and her gorgeousness. We danced the night away and celebrated their love. I would show you pictures that I took, but my camera is horrendous and looking at the pics prompted me to make an immediate trip to Best Buy to buy a camera that is suitable.

They used the same videographer that we had for our wedding and they just posted this video...

I mean seriously, how beautiful are they?!

Congratulations Julie and Jason! I love you both :)

Here is to many, many years of happiness!!!
