I am grateful that I have been busy because it helps to keep my mind from wondering.
This past weekend I went to Nashville to celebrate the last
Bacheloretteness of one of my oldest friends. It was so much fun. What a great
city that is!
The weather was beautiful while we were there. However,
getting there is another story. The tornadoes you heard about on the news…yep,
we drove straight through them! Instead of storm chasers, we were storm
runners! We were about 15 minutes ahead of the tornadoes but it seems like once
we got out of one we were driving into another. Whew! These are the clouds that
followed us all the way there!
Back to the weekend. Once we arrived, safe and sound, we had
a blast. The live music was awesome, the dancing was fabulous and the drinks
were amazing! The bachelorette struggled
to get up each day which shows the success of each night!
It was a great group of girls. Of the nine people that went,
I grew up with six of them. It was the largest amount of time that we have all
spent together in… a decade! Gosh, it makes me feel really old to say that. It
was so much fun! The other three fit right in and were a blast. Simply put, it
was amazing!
Yay for another great weekend in the books! Congrats to the
Bachelorette! Now it’s time to get her married on St. Patty’s Day!
Pictures will follow in the next post..
